Close-up: Long Term Result
Surgical Hole After Skin Cancer Removal:
A large hole on the central chin after this lady had a skin cancer removed with Mohs surgery.
Plastic Surgical Reconstruction by Dr Hussain:
In order to conceal the scar lines as best as possible, I designed a repair known as an O to T (double rotation) flap. I felt this would be the best way of trying to hide the incisions within the skin’s natural expression lines.
Long Term Result:
The overall cosmetic outcome is pleasing. This photo was taken only a few weeks after the surgery. I would expect the scar to continue to improve with scar massage and time.
